SUMMARY:

This position is part of the Corporate Accounting team for Pinnacle.  Located in Bellevue, WA, the Accounting team’s deliverables include: preparing monthly financial reports, control cash accounts, processes AP, reconcile benefits billing, and prepare property billbacks. This position would assist in completing all team deliverables while also completing projects for the Controller and CFO. 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 

  • Support the month end close process by preparing journal entries and reports
  • Oversee benefit billing and reconciliation
  • Provide support for budget and forecast process through use of Access and Excel templates
  • Assist in internal review of accounts and year end audit
  • Assist other team members in executing team goals and deliverables
  • Prepare and release wire transactions related to payroll and other funding
  • Assist with financial analysis and modeling through preparation of monthly reports
  • Other duties as assigned



 

Job Requirements

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

 

  • Strong Microsoft office skills including Access, Excel, and Word. Be able to create Excel macros. 
  • Knowledge of accounting systems and how trail balances and general ledgers work along with the function of debits and credits
  • Team oriented while also being a self-starter
  • Champion strong ethical behavior

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • College degree in accounting or finance
  • 2+ years’ experience
