JOB SUMMARY:

The Data Conversion Specialist is a critical thinker responsible for designing, developing and maintaining tools, reports, and various data in collaboration with the Application Development Team. They will also contribute to supporting our full service web applications.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Performs data conversions to load property data into Pinnacle’s Yardi Voyager databases.
  • Utilizes Microsoft Excel to manipulate data and transform it to an importable ETL format. Data is in the form of Excel reports or property management system data files.
  • Analyzes data and reports to ensure all required data has been received.
  • Works closely with Transition Coordinators to acquire reports and data files.
  • Performs property configuration and setup within Yardi Voyager.
  • Performs post conversion validation to ensure the setup ties to the conversion reports.
  • Communicate Go Live procedures to impacted associates.
  • Performs special projects as assigned by supervisor.
  • Achieves high productivity through reliable and punctual on-site attendance, and timely reports any tardiness and/or attendance issues to immediate supervisor.
  • Analyses and determines conversion requirements and specifications.
  • Identifies, clarifies and resolves issues and risks, escalating them as needed.
  • Communicates with internal and external clients to obtain information and guidance for the conversion process.
  • Designs, develops and executes tests that confirm the success of the data conversion process.
 

Job Requirements

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

 

  • Solid understanding of property management operational and financial reporting.
  • Motivated, self-starter with the desire to learn, contribute ideas and be part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel – advanced.
  • Solid understanding of Yardi Voyager and how conversion data relates to the program.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills. This position interacts with Regional Managers and Regional Vice Presidents.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work under time constraints.

 

EDUCATION /EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • Typically requires a minimum of one to three years of demonstrated property management experience.
    • Experience working as part of a team is a plus.
    • Ideal candidate will have experience with Yardi Voyager.

 

 

REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Technical certifications in a related area are plus.

As required by projects. Travel will be less than 15%.
