JOB SUMMARY:

The Maintenance Coordinator should endeavor to provide excellent customer service to clients, residents, prospective residents, guests, and vendors.  Maintenance Coordinators have a hyper focus on managing the physical asset.  

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Walking all move outs
  • Obtaining bids for repairs
  • Scheduling vendors
  • Maintaining the Make-Ready board
  • Writing the maintenance team schedule
  • Overseeing safety meetings
  • Completing monthly preventative maintenance checklist
  • Entering purchase orders for all scheduled work and ordered parts
  • Monitoring work order completion and updating Yardi with completion notes as well as updating residents on work order delays.
  • Handled all escalated service complaints
  • Walk each make-ready for quality control, completing a written checklist on each unit prior to move in
  • Ensure keys and remotes are ready prior to move in
  • Supervise trash management 
  • Drive property daily

 

 

Job Requirements

SKILLS:

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, writing and computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to effectively interact and work with individuals from diverse backgrounds
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively in both a team and individual setting
  • Flexibility and ability to manage a complex workload in varied work environments
  • Understand the characteristics of the resident population and property in which they serve.

EDUCATION /EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in property management; Assistant Property Manager experience preferred
  • Proficient in Yardi property management software or other similar property management software preferred
