Position Summary

The Director, Marketing Operations leads the daily national marketing operations for the field marketing group. S/he oversees the regional marketing team members and drives strong marketing strategies that enable the alignment of external (client) and internal customer objectives and goals. Additionally, the Director, Marketing Operations ensures the execution and positioning of Pinnacle’s national marketing platform.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Leads and supervises regional marketing teams.
  • Sets operational strategy and goals, in conjunction with the Senior Director, National Property Marketing’s national platform initiatives.
  • Manage and oversee the department’s menu of services. Regularly evaluates and measures service performance, in maintaining relevant and engaging resources that support competitive marketing strategies.
  • Ensures client centric engagement throughout operations touchpoints.
  • Analyze opportunities for prospect acquisition and ensure that relevant business model and resources are in place.
  • Create on-going blueprint for managing multi-channel attribution, in keeping pace with consumer behavior and digital channel evolution.
  • Regularly maintains current insights on consumer trends through persona, market segmentation, generational and other consumer centric data points.
  • Monitor market for new practices that will improve and optimize the department’s performance.
  • Develop and manage templated library of branded marketing operational resources such as marketing plans, marketing budgets etc. to be used in daily marketing operations nationally.
  • Engage collaborative relationships with inter-departmental disciplinary groups that support enhanced efficiencies and next generation practices.
  • Contribute to marketing effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed; provide information and commentary to support recommendations, options, solutions and courses of actions.
  • Undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends
 

Job Requirements

Education and/or Experience

  • College degree and 7-10 years of industry experience in a marketing discipline.
  • Multifamily marketing experience highly preferred.
  • 5 years of supervisory experience.
  • Must have experience working in a digital marketing environment.
  • Knowledge of Yardi product suite is a plus.

Skills/Specialized Knowledge

  • MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to read and interpret business intelligence data and other reporting tools.
  • Strong interpersonal communications skills both verbal and written.
  • Effectively organize, prioritize and time manage workload.
  • Maintains discretion in working with sensitive and confidential information.
  • Work comfortably in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
  • Have excellent time-management skills
  • Think creatively and strategically and have exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Remains calm under stress and uncertainty inspiring the same in juniors.
